My step-cousin's house burned down yesterday. Nathan and Nicki had just bougt a big house in my home-town. They were moving to Bloomfield to be closer to our grandma (well, my step-grandma, but she's the only one I have left and she's been a part of my life since I was 4) despite the fact that they both work 20 miles away. Oh dear, I am so sorry to hear about your family's house fire. My aunt, uncle and cousin had a similar event happen a few years ago, but they were in the house when the fire started. It was rather scary. I'm glad that no one was harmed, even though it is still sad that all of their posessions were in the house at the time. I hope that they got to save some things that were close to their hearts. I'll keep a lookout in the newspapers. My heart goes out to them too!
