My step-cousin's house burned down yesterday. Nathan and Nicki had just bougt a big house in my home-town. They were moving to Bloomfield to be closer to our grandma (well, my step-grandma, but she's the only one I have left and she's been a part of my life since I was 4) despite the fact that they both work 20 miles away. They had just gotten all of their posessions into the house and had spent only one or two nights there. They were out of town when the fire started, and I give thanks that they were. (The fire started in the cothes dryer.) I don't know how much they were able to get out of the house afterwards. My mom said there was a lot of smoke and water damage. It just makes me sick to think about it, both my cousin and his wife are really great people. Nathan was the first baby I ever held, I remember him in all of his tow-headed glory and he's been a part of my life since he was born, he IS my cousin. His wife is very sweet and the two of them have adorable, blond babies. My heart goes out to them.
Well,
sowritesauds , be on the lookout for a blurb in the newspaper about Nathan Thordarson, if there is a picture you may even be able to see some of my family.
