Music and HP Mashups Part 1
I'm taking off tomorrow for a ridiculous comic book adventure which will last until Sunday night. I will therefore not be on LJ until... probably Monday! So, in order to keep up my "365 posts in 365 days" plan as well as to catch up a bit with my idea to post "365 songs I love by 365 different bands" within the next year as well, here is a quick post that I thought might be fun. I have a list of most of the songs I'm going to post, in posting order, in a spreadsheet, so... I'm just grabbing the next handful here for this idea.
Beneath each song, I'm going to type out whatever HP related thing (probably mostly R/Hr related) that pops into my head while listening. Yeah? Here goes...
Viktor Krum pondering why Hermione doesn't want to be his girlfriend after the Ball. haha...
Hm... Hermione dresses up and goes to the Slugclub Christmas Party that she was supposed to go to with Ron. But she's not happy. And she wishes Ron would just show up anyway so they could meet and make up. Ron wishes the same thing, but can't really do anything about it because he is with Lavender now and doesn't think Hermione cares about him anymore. He feels like he's not good enough for Hermione. But at the same time, he sort of wishes that he could just meet her in private where no one would know and they could just ignore the fact that he has a girlfriend... bad Ron! (seeds of a fanfic idea??)
Trio living in the tent without some of the comforts of home. But they're going to make it :) Verses from Harry's perspective during DH... he doesn't really know what he's doing, but he is trying to remain optimistic.
Hah... Ron thinking about how he's poor but still wants to be with Hermione, so he's pondering what would happen if he told her and she said yes. Oh, and I just kind of mentally substituted the bike in this song for a broom, fulfilling what I'm sure is one of Ron's fantasies... :)
Well, that sure was fun! I can see this becoming a new 'thing' that I do...
