This is an announcement for all students,
The recent spates of violence in the town have escalated into a full-out gang war between two rival groups. I know already that two students are involved with one of the groups and a lock-down of students residing on campus has been put into effect by these students.
And an update on the young female student who was abducted some days ago: I have received word from the local hospital that she has been recovered alive. She was brought to the hospital early yesterday evening by an unknown male and while she has sustained heavy injuries, she is undergoing treatment.
I'd like to announce now that all lectures are SUSPENDED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE and off-campus students are to remain in their homes, with on-campus students remaining on the campus grounds and not venturing into the town for any reason whatsoever. The students that are currently hospitalised are being watched by security and, if they should be discharged before the violence in town is resolved, they will be escorted back to campus where they will join the other students in the lock-down.
It goes without saying that the police are not handling this situation at all. They're more interested in jailing two students than addressing the fact that this town is being terrorised by a large, well-armed group. They seem to have no interest at all in taking down these men that two of our students are now taking down on their behalf. In light of this blatant blindness in the judicial system, effective immediately, THE PUNISHMENTS THAT WERE HANDED DOWN TO THE FOUR STUDENTS FOR THE ON-CAMPUS VIOLENCE HAVE OFFICIALLY BEEN RESCINDED. Any bans related to this have been lifted and whatever manner of weaponry or ammunition that was taken and is being held by the school will be returned.
My concern now is for student safety, and that goes for all of my students. I want those two to come back alive above anything else, so if that means I have to put the law in the hands of the young, then I will. I ask for all students to fully cooperate with what these two have to do and to please avoid getting involved. External involvement now could compromise their position.
Please may all students observe the lock-down rules and remain in your residences until the violence has been resolved.
With thanks,
Dean Mickey Mouse
