Thankfully, the week has ended, and I've made it through with only minimal scrapes and bruises. Four weeks and counting until I go home...

This week has been in my top five of worst weeks in Korea. I'm sick, stressed, frustrated, and frazzled for a myriad of reasons.

So what do I do? Post long-overdue Japan pictures, of course.

After we left the port city of Fukuoka, we went to Hiroshima to visit the peace park and the Atomic Bomb Memorial Museum.

The first thing that you see when you get off of the streetcar at the peace park is the A-Bomb Dome.

It is still raining. I am soaked from the shoulders down despite having purchased a clear umbrella and a spiffy new hat. Since we began this day, we've exchanged umbrellas at least five times with others in a bin -- they all look the same, and someone keeps taking ours ( Read more... )

In Tokyo after misadventure and a few mind-blowing experiences.

About to meet up with an lj friend of Brandon's for cheap Italian food. It is raining out.
