Things that I am totally stoked about
* I harvested our first potatoes today! Lots of them were about the size of new potatoes (with the exception of one gargantuan potato). I have high hopes for the remaining plants. Our garden continues to delight and surprise us. At 2,300 square feet, it is a lot of work, but we are really having fun with what we learn and what we produce.
* We made mozzarella for the first time! I've always wanted to learn how to make cheese. It really wasn't that hard. Science is amazing!
* It's summertime! The everyday level of crazy has subsided at work and I have a schedule that is predictable. I've been taking yoga classes and started up running again. Even though it's hot as blazes, I'm still so happy this time of year to feel in control of my life.
