We just volunteered ourselves to be bumped off of our flight from Atlanta to Phoenix tonight. The flight was ridiculously overbooked, and Brandon finagled the Delta people into agreeing to $500.00 vouchers each instead of the $400.00 vouchers they offered initially. Once they throw in a hotel room and food vouchers, that should be a pretty sweet

I've always wanted to try something like that, but have always been flying on a schedule. Congrats on the negotiations!

We love getting bumped and usually try to book the busiest time we can, to increase our odds of it happening. :) It seems like a hassle at the time, but is well worth having that free airfare money lying around later! Good luck!
