I got a C in New Testament. That's bad. What's worse? That I'm HAPPY about it! Staley's grading scale was so skewed that the 75 I got on the second paper in that class (the lowest grade I've ever gotten on a paper) was a failing grade.
Who in their right mind wants to work for an insurance company? That's what I'd like to know.
Marvin Williams and Martell Webster are both predicted to go in the first round of the NBA draft. My brother has played these guys - and BEAT them - for years. But he and his high school coach didn't get along, meaning he spent more time on the bench than he should have and wasn't scouted properly, and he developed tendinitis in one of his knees. So he ended up at a D3 school. It isn't fair, but he's mature enough to realize that life isn't fair, and that, while basketball is all Williams and Webster have, he can be successful doing anything he chooses. Still, I've seen my brother play. He should've gone on to be Luke Ridnour with more size and a stronger defensive game.
Today will be sunny, warm and glorious. Time to track down a book and have at it!
