How I do these things

Ok. So you saw my first sketches. The first thing I ever do when making a plush creation is grab my trusty white board and start sketching out general body shapes and what I want it to look like. After letting it sit in the corner of the house for a little while due to my thinking over what pieces should look like and abject laziness, I'll go over everything and start designing the pieces that will make up the body.

The red lines are the piece outlines.

This is where the process differs slightly. The previous two plushies I made used just standard printer paper for pieces that quickly got destroyed when punctured and torn with needles and pins. This time, I realized that the pieces were not only going to be too large for just printer paper, but I am going to be making more than one. I decided to cut up a paper bag or two so as to make re-usable templates for my fabric pieces.

You can also see the EXCELLENT fabric I got for the main body fur. It even has "fur" that is really super soft. I suppose I should get a picture of all the fabric I have so far as well. Perhaps next update.
