I know it's Monday but my Monday was a good day.
I didn't think it would start out very well because we had a project due in one of our computer classes. I made all the models I needed and wrote all the code to make them work. But the code wouldn't do what it was supposed to. So I texted one of my friends from class who agreed to meet me at 11:00 to "help" me fix it (by "helping" I mean he'd rewrite it the way it was supposed to be in the first place.) We have class together at 12 so I figured he wouldn't mind coming an hour early.
He looked at my program and was able to make it work with just a few adjustments. Although the program was officially due last night, our instructor is lenient about deadlines. In class today he said only a handful of people had turned in their projects. So I was ahead of the curve, sort of.
On Mondays and Wednesdays, I have my programming class from 12 to 2. Then I have Physics from 5:30 to 8:00 on a different campus. I usually go to Panera between the classes but today I decided to go home. I figured I could get a few things done before Physics. About the time I was ready to start my Physics homework, which - yes - was due tonight, I got an email from school telling me Physics tonight and Wednesday was cancelled!!
I had an unexpected free afternoon! And what did I do with that extra free time? Took a nap, of course. I haven't been sleeping especially well. The nap helped.
Now I need to work on the 25 page story due for Storytelling class by midnight Friday. I've known for 3 weeks it's due but have I really started it? Of course not.
And next week is spring break!! An entire week of no classes and no tutoring. I have lots of plans for the free time. I always have plans - I'm much better at making them than I am at completing them!
I hope you all had a good Monday! And will continue to have a fabulous week.
