I shouldn't be awake now
I shouldn't leave the flat at 7:30, not unless Dave needed to come in then anyway.
There is a bloody annoying alarm going off across the road, it's been going off since before 6:30am!! I could hear the dustbin men come and go and countless vehicles, the sound was driving me crazy. I tried closing the window and lying on my good ear and if i hummed i couldn't hear it any more but any time i stopped humming there it was, the room was far too hot with the window closed.
Eventually (7:30ish) I got semi-dressed, went downstairs and crossed over to Tiverton. Luckily the landlord's number was on the window so i've phoned him to inform him that the house might have been broken into or disturbed and the alarm hadn't stopped in over an hour. He sounded tired and confused poor guy, it's not his fault, he thought I was a tenant at first but i explained that i was just a neighbour. I'm pretty sure that house is empty or its occupied by deaf people. Anyway he seemed very reasonable about it and said he'd phone some one to deal with it.
I have been pro-active and i have got results!!!
That said Dave will be here in half and hour and it still hasn't stopped, but hopefully the wheels are in motion.
