I published an article! Yay for me!
I've already posted this on Facebook and Twitter, but I make it a point to hit all my social networks whenever I write something.
Anyway, I applied to an ad asking for writers for an online magazine called God of Lamb. Lo and behold, they responded and let me write for them on a trial basis. If I get through the month-long trial period, I'll be brought on permanently as a columnist. It's not a paying gig, but as the site grows it could become one. My first article with them can be found here.
I need to write three more posts over the next month. I already have an idea for one more. I'm sure I'll find something else to write about after that.
Even if this doesn't turn into a paying gig, at least I'll have somewhere I can point to that shows that I do have something resembling a body of published work with my name on it.
