Well, who said older people can't be obsessed with anime? A friend of mine claimed that her teacher loves it---not that I know how old she is (I don't remember). Mangakas are around that age, aren't they? =P

Ah, but what does it mean to be "obsessed" with something? Plainly I think differently about that than the person who made that remark. But it's okay, you know: it gave me a good laugh at a time when a laugh was welcome... Mangaka's may also be that age, but I'm sure they view their works differently than their readers do. I read about one of my favourite authors saying something like that, and I'm sure she's right.
