Summary: James tries to prove Scorpius wrong, but he's the one who gets the surprise.

hp_halloween. Dear GreenMegsNoHam, it's not often that I see a request for James Sirius/Sirius and I simply couldn't resist.
It starts with a random comment from Scorpius. "It's one way to prove true love."
It should have ended there, but the Potter boys (men now) can't let anything go.
"How many people do you know who have returned from the dead? And Voldemort doesn't count," Albus says, chuckling.
"Let me get this straight," James starts. "You go to a cemetery on Halloween, cast a spell and if your true love died before his time, he comes back to life-"
"Notice how James said 'he'," Albus said.
Scorpius rolled his eyes. "As if we didn't know."
It should have ended there, but on Halloween, James is at the cemetery with his brother and Scorpius. He'll prove Scorpius how wrong he is.
"You understand that a negative proves nothing, right? Your true love could still be alive," Scorpius said again.
"He's a Gryffindor; logic is useless." Albus perches on a tombstone and watches as James cast the spell, ready to explain again that this means nothing, but he's wrong. There's a light and a man appears.
James frowns, but walks toward the figure. "Sirius?"
"Where am I?"
There'll be time to explain, but for now, James grins. "With your true love."
