Job News
I got the job! YAY! From February the 26th (after I get back from Colorado) I shall be the Fostering Department's brand spanking new Interviewing Officer *happy dance* I shall be spending most of my time interviewing prospective foster parents, keeping a record for statistical purposes, making pretty graphs and generally being a badass and I am very very excited. There is a restructuring going on (when isn't there?) and they're having an away day on the 23rd January in preparation for changing to the new structure, which I've been invited to, woo!
I spent today at the voluntary job with Safe@Last having a blast. We do a couple of sketches and then discussion to get the dangers across and stuff. I spent the morning being the scary older stranger and then the afternoon being the runaway. It's all done in a bunch of sets in part of an old steel works. I'll have to take some photos one day because its impressive. However, it is very very cold in there. Brrr.
