The pathology came back today and it's not good. Elissa has bilateral invasive breast cancer, which means the lumps in both breasts broke through the cell wall and have entered into the breast tissue. She's going to have further surgery to remove more cancerous tissue and to test her lymph nodes. No word yet on when that will be taking place. No word yet on what Stage of cancer this is because everything we knew before has gone out the window now. We're all devastated.
