She points at the mask painted in metalic green with elaborate curved borders circumspecting the diagonal section of the mask and muttered, " Its a beautiful mask isn't it?". A quick reply was given, "only because you have seen it first". They are both of almost equal age yet the contrast in livelihood is so apparent. One who can't remember the mask that she saw first in the state theatre and the other, still quick as a fox. One wears two shirts over the other, as fashionable as it may seem isn't reflective of her fashion sense but the lost of her short term memory and the other, a sports track suitable for the warm summer.
Slyvia then reflect on the time when Peggy was with her in the state theatre, " we were in the theatre when you saw the mask while going to the toilet, and you came running back telling me , "hurry, you have to see this!". There it is, the mask that reflects how much memory that can be retrieved from her mind.
I feel sorry for her and yet her innocence makes me laugh, i wonder if that is cruel.
