::Silent Night::

Callipe had run out of things to do. She had scrubbed, polished, dusted, and swept every last thing in her small apartment, and the digital clock on her windowsill only read 3:03 am. She sighed, taking down her ring of keys from where they hung on the wall, and walked out the door into the night. The soft ocean mist touched her bare arms as she walked down the street, and the crescent moon lit the buildings around her. In an apartment nearby loud music throbbed. Others were also not sleeping at this hour, though for completely different reasons than her own. Callipe simply could not sleep, a fact which she had gotten used to during her past sixteen years.

Suddenly, a current struck her. A particularly pleasant dream happening in a nearby bedroom, and the energy emitted from the dreamer's uncontious brain swept around her like a silent breeze. Calli smiled to herself, then glanced up and down the street before allowing the energy to slowly lift her skyward. She rotated slightly in the dream-breeze, and it tugged gently at her long purple hair, pulling it from the pins that held it in place. She drifted like a wraith high above the sleeping city, her body being passed like a scarf from one person's thought waves to another. She spread her arms wide, enjoying every sensation from the wind in her hair to the dew forming on her arms and clothes. She was free. She was home.
