I did not catch the rest of that thought*, despite running back into the hall and shouting, "Wait. WHAT?" at them.
But these are the people that work in my lab.
And clearly I should get to know them better.
* I asked one of them later. They were saying that the Holodeck was the fatal flaw of Star Trek, because if you had something that could generate any fantasy, why would anyone go into space? And you'd never come into the Holodeck and find it empty--there'd be a 6 month waiting list, because guys would be in there constantly, watching p0rn.
