So I was talking to someone at work on Monday, and she mentioned offhandedly that apparently Jan 24th is the most depressing day of the year, or that it was the day that statistically the most suicides took place.
I'm listening to a grammar podcast today (yes, I am a nerd) and she mentioned that she heard that there was a Hug a Writer Day, and that it was on Jan 24th, though she didn't know why. The mental connection made me laugh, and then made me feel kind of bad. Lol. I suppose of all professions, writers ARE more prone to it, but still.
In other news, I hit 50,000 last night, thus officially completing and winning NaNoWriMo 2007. Go me. Still only about half done with the book, though.
And in other other news, it looks like a white thanksgiving. I see snow drifting by past the window, and it's done so for the past ... oh, I dunno, 2 or 3 hours. It's very pretty. Hopefully it goes away, I don't want to drive in it.
More updates when I have time/energy/something worth saying.
