This evening we discovered that Neko had left us a wonderful present -- cat feces -- on the desk in the kitchen. This desk is covered in piles of papers to be filed, books, games, bakeware (to return to mom), & other things we don't have room for (a humidifier, rolled coins, etc.). In the last week my cat has managed to drag out, mouth, & knead (which we lovingly call fucking) many of my clothes. Some clean, some dirty. Three PJ bottoms. Two overshirts. One pair of shorts. Two tank tops. One T-shirt. One pair of jeans. I have the horrid idea that my cat has a crush on me.

I wish we could have more cats. They're so sweet & loveable. But I think more cats would interfere with the current household dynamics. Plus the house is really too small for more living things of that size.

It's hard to believe that Neko's about 4 & Momogo's nearly 1. It feels like we've had both forever. Just last spring I was in my bathtub ( Read more... )
