At school this semester I'm teaching a vb.net lab for non-majors. They've covered arrays a couple lectures ago, but the students still seem very confused. Many also have no clue where to start on the current program. A few asked me to write a narrative-ish explanation of arrays. I have officially e-mailed the USPS to request an explanation why I should have to pay to buy a CD copy of the address/zip database when a corporation could use this online version free. Should I as a citizen have to fork over $500 when a company that has money pays nothing? My tax dollars are paying for this service too. All I'm asking for is ( Read more... )

This past weekend I once again took part in a ritual that I have only recently come to appreciate. Lanwar 20 ( www.lanwar.com ). I've attended since Lanwar 4.5 (oh so long ago) & still enjoy it.
