(no subject)
So yeah, it's been a while since i updated. i'm back in school; taking a couple engineering classes, physics, economics, and a couple gems classes. most of it's pretty boring, and i've been falling asleep in a fair number of classes. i suppose the more logical explanation for why i keep nodding off is that i haven't been getting enough sleep, but that'd put the blame on me.
the reason for me not sleeping was a good one though; every day for the last two and a half weeks i've seen adrienne, which makes me one of the luckiest guys ever. she left monday morning, which makes me quite sad, but at least i got to see her once more, as she left before my classes started. coincidentally, i've been in a simon & garfunkel kind of mood the last couple days. i hope she likes it out there; i know she's nervous and a bit scared, but it'll get better. things always do. though i wish i could hug her and tell her so in person.
aside from that, not a whole lot going on. i was tinkering with adrienne's old cd burner earlier today, but to no avail. there was some hope at the very beginning; when i first connected it, everything seemed to work fine. i tried booting from cd, reading a cd from windows, and finally burning a cd. after the burn, the drive stopped working again, although the cd it burned worked fine. so, more tinkering to be done, though i'm not sure exactly when.
so, yeah. nothing exciting. i miss adrienne. that's about all i got
