Why My Dogs Think I Am Crazy

I am sure there are many reasons that my dogs think I am losing my mind, but the most recent incident was from last night.  My new Netflix movie arrived in the mail.  It was Star Trek: Generations!  Yeah!  I was so excited.  I know I have one more season of the Next Generation to get through, but I figured it was safe enough to start watching the movies since I have a decent grasp on who is who and what is going on.  I was not disappointed!
I loved the movie!  It was nice getting to see some of the Original Series characters, such as Kirk and Scotty...who doesn't love Scotty?!  I always wondered what Enterprise B and C looked like, and now I know what B looked like.  I absolutely loved the scene on the sailing ship Enterprise!  Very creative...I wish I had a holo-deck!  Guinan!  She is the coolest character...I wish we knew more about her...maybe we do and I just haven't gotten that far yet?  The trick the Klingons used to attack the Enterprise was very cool...too bad it didn't end well for them:P  I think it looks so cool when the saucer section of the ship disconnects from the rest of the ship!  The crash landing was even better!  Do the people who build the ships not realize that seat belts would help to avoid some of the injuries that seem to occur?  We have been told that poverty was eliminated and that they can stop dangerous storms from occurring, but seat belts can't be installed for the bridge of a Federation's Flag Starship?!  Thank goodness Picard was around to save the day again!  The scene at the end with Data and his cat was great!  I thought Data was great in the whole movie!  His "emotions" were fun to watch.  The best part of the whole movie was when the saucer section was crashing and Data looks ahead and says very deadpan, "Oh, Sh*t."  Just the way he said it, it was brilliant!  I listened to part of the commentary after the movie and realized part of the reason I loved the movie so much...Ronald D. Moore!  He helped to write the script.  And of course we know that he brought us the wonderful re-imagining of Battlestar Galactica...thanks!
The reason my dogs kept looking at me like I was nuts might have had something to do with the fact that it was 2 am while I was watching the movie and I kept screaming at the screen during the action!  I even found myself clapping at certain parts...sometimes, I just get too involved in watching a movie:)  The beagle, at one point, got up and huffed and then left the room to go and lay on the couch...apparently I was disturbing his rest:)  Silly dogs!
