Fairy Wings
My friend Amanda, for one of her Halloween costumes, decided to be Rosetta for Halloween. She made these BEAUTIFUL wings that look almost exactly like the wings for the Fairies at Disney World. I asked her how she made them, and she told me. She made some for her sister Courtney for her Tinker Bell costume too. I told her that I was thinking about being Rosetta for Halloween, too.
I jut went to ACE Hardware today and bought some 10 gauge wire to make the wings out of like she did. Now all I have to get is some organza fabric, some pink (or maybe a little red or clear, I'm not really sure) glitter paint, and then a hot glue gun. It doesn't really seem like it's too hard to make. But I'm not sure if my wings will really look like hers. In fact, I'm almost positive that they won't look like hers. I have to have the wings done before Thursday, which is the day of the Halloween Ball at my school. It should be fun. At least, I sure hope so. I've already got a dress that doesn't really look anything like Rosetta's dress in the movie or in the parks, but I guess it'll have to do. It's actually one of my skating dresses that just happens to be pink. It looks nice, but I guess we'll see how everything looks together when the wings are done.
