[#075] What the hell?
It's been two weeks since I posted. o.o I realize that the last week was particularly busy but damn.
i. Um, so this past week! If you looked at my Scrapbook for 2011, I have had so much shit to do this past week. I even went off to Atlantic City for a weekend! Which was pretty damn awesome. Gambled only 2 bucks but won $2.75! lololol I was cheap, what can I say? XD Also, WAS ON THE BEACH AROUND MIDNIGHT. *__________* So gorgeous and the weather was pretty good Sunday night, thankfully. (Even if it was foggy.) C and P went into the water (a little) but man, it must've been freezing. (Okay, they said it wasn't that cold. but I will just have to take their word for it.) Um, I don't even know what else--fun evening, a little frustrating at times because people are stupid, and a person at a desk that literally told us "Well, you weren't listening." What a wench. :/// Also, the song "Give Me Everything" with Pitbull, Ne-yo, etc. kept playing EVERYWHERE WE WENT. After a while, we got slightly sick of it. lol But I love it again. XD Especially since they play it on Z100 all the time as well, lol.
Anyway, then this weekend, we had visitors up the wazoo. First Saturday, my dad's old schoolmates came by for the first time. My dad was SO EXCITED apparently which explains why we have enough food for the rest of this week--BARBECUE!!! Too bad we finished the kebabs though. T.T I would've loved to bring it in tomorrow. Then, Sunday, my MOM'S dormmates came by for brunch/lunch/close to dinner. They own a Dunkin Donuts so they brought boxes of stuff! Donuts, muffins and bagels! XD Anyone want muffins because holy hell, we are definitely not going to be able to eat it all. lolol Then tonight, my godmother is in town from Hawaii, so dinner! Have work tmr where we get a new intern so a;ldkfjaslkdfj Anxious for Wednesday/Thursday because I'm taking those days off. I THINK I NEED THIS BREAK. T.T
ii. Dramas next season! What are you guys checking out? I'm pretty sure that the majority of the dramas have already been announced! From what I can tell, my list is ridiculously long, but will I keep up with them all? Probably not considering this season, I started with 3 dramas and am now only watching 2, one of which is brand new. lol Anyway, for next season, the dramas I definitely want to check out:
- All the gender-switching dramas: Hanazakari no Kimitachi e (the remake with Maeda Atsuko), Ouran High School Host Club and Ikemen Desu ne. The only one that is ironically not a masochistic watch will be Ikemen Desu ne because I'm actually intrigued by that one--even though I tried watching the Korean drama version and couldn't get through the first ep. lol actually, i only watched like 10 minutes before I was like, um, forget this. Also, I watched this interview with the cast, and omg, they seem like so much fun! :DDDDD As for Hanakimi and Ouran Host Club, the reason I say they are M watches are because I just can't seem to agree with either of their casts, but I am still curious how they'll work out. So maybe I'll just check out first eps and then drop them unless they're interesting enough. XD
- Zenkai Girl with Aragaki Yui and Nishikido Ryo: OF COURSE I'M CHECKING THIS OUT. I was not interested in the dog drama with Ryo/Mizukawa Asami (even though I totally ship them), but I would like to watch this. I don't know so much about the plot, but I am curious to see how Yui/Ryo will look together. Plus, wantwantwant to see Ryo as a dad finally.
- Zettai Reido 2 with Ueto Aya. *______________* Well, the easy response to this is really that I saw the first season and liked it. And I like Ueto Aya. lol Really now, how much more do I need to say?
- Bull Doctor with Esumi Makiko, Ishihara Satomi and Inagaki Goro: YESYESYES. I am all about this mainly because ho shit, Ishihara/Goro is going to be gorgeous and snippy together, glaring at Esumi Makiko who will not give into any of their shit. It'll be great. :DDDD Plus I still adore Esumi Makiko (who I really haven't watched any of her work minus Sore wa... funnily enough) but <333333 Cannot fucking wait.
- Hanawake no Yon Shimai with all those girls and Shige: AHAHAAH. I don't know if I will keep up with this Oh Shige and his acting but as for the first ep, I will definitely be checking it out out of curiosity. lolol
- *Possible* Meitantei Conan with Mizobata Junpei: This is the only one that's really a "meh" because I'm at least checking out the first ep for all these other ones. But I did watch the drama special so definitely curious. But I know for sure it will not satisfy my shipping hat since the manga is nowhere near finished and ugh. Also I wonder if they're going to address him CHANGING INTO A CHILD. Want them to do a drama series on that already instead.
iii. My je_otherworlds fic went up!!!! *____________* Please check it out here. Seriously worth the read. So funny and I just love all the NEWS-centricness of it all. Plus the pairings. and omg, it's Yamapi/Massu!!!!!! Did not expect that. :DDDDD Also, ofc, loving on all the Ryo/Shige. And the fact that it's "Magazine Office AU." I haven't had a chance to read the rest of the fics sadly, but can't wait till I get the time to go back and read the ones I'm interested in. :DDDDDD
