ii. Finished the drama Hero as well as its special two days ago. *_____________* My shipping hat seriously wanted Kuryu/Amamiya like NOBODY'S BUSINESS. And they alluded to it so many damn times, but a;slkdjfalskdjf NOTHING, NOTHINGNOTHINGNOTHING. I'm hoping the movie will make me happy but I won't get to watch that till tomorrow. ARGH. As for the drama itself, I totally enjoyed it. I even got weepy at the second to last episode when the assemblyman apologized to the son of the security guard that died protecting him. I just loved how they played it and how the boy took a little bit of time before finally saying that the assemblyman was forgiven. Then at the end, the assemblyman goes to his secretary and says "that was more nerve-wrecking than the press conference." oh god my heart. ;alksdjflaksdjflkj Otherwise, I mean, it's a typical "detective-style" drama centered around a prosecutor with unorthodox methods. It's decent for its genre. Plus since it's so old, there were a TON of actors I recognized, two of note were Sato Ryuuta as this punk-kid who ends up punching one of the paralegals and a blonde Ryou who tried to kill Amamiya. Thoroughly amused. :D

She's allowed a moment of weakness, she thinks as she stumbles into the police station--the last place she looked (for some strange reason). She grips onto her gun a little harder when she sees a figure sitting right by her desk, but when his head turns, she almost drops it; her heart unclenches in relief. "Castle," Kate mumbles, stumbling forward but stopping short when he stands up and all she can see is the blood staining the front of his shirt.
"It's Alexis'," he says, answering the unspoken question with a forced smile; his eyes don't crinkle like they should--like her heart wants, needs them to.
"I'm sorry," she croaks before stepping closer--but her steps stop when she hears the crashing of windows around them and the figures that she, they all had been trying to hide from.
Castle's beside her without her even realizing, holding a gun that she doesn't want to know where he got from and exhales; gunfire is the last thing she hears.
