...And the rest of November is just as busy!

i. Last week was fun! I went to dinner with my boss, C and a... well, I can't say co-worker because we only worked with her for one project--but the dinner was celebrating an anniversary for something she worked with us so that's why she was here. BUT the important thing here--other than the fact that dinner was fucking awesome (we went to this Italian place in Staten Island called Enoteca Maria which was quaint as all crap, but OMG, THE FOOD WAS FUCKIN AWESOME. and the drinks, lol)--IS THAT I DISCOVERED THAT THE CO-WORKER LADY ACTUALLY WORKED ON THE PR OF YATTERMAN. It was funny how this was revealed: we were talking about the Japan trip that I took in July with C and they were, ofc, asking if I knew Japanese or whatever. So I tell them that I love watching Japanese media--dramas, movies, shows, the like. And that prompts Na to go, Oh! Well, I worked on the PR for this Japanese movie they brought here. Do you know Takashi Miike? I was like, yeah! I know of him. And in my head, I kept thinking, oh no way, no way noway no freaking way. And she goes, Yeah! It was called Yatterman. I ALMOST SHRIEKED. i PROBABLY WOULD HAVE IF I HADN'T REMEMBERED THIS WAS A WORK-RELATED EVENT. C and I went, yes! WE KNOW IT! And I'm like, LOL I WAS THERE THAT NIGHT. And um, there was this whole thing about how Sho was popular and how they brought in a lot of press for him and I REALLY WANTED TO ASK HER MORE QUESTIONS BUT ASLD;KJFALSKDJFLKSJDFK Still, WHAT ARE THE CHANCES! IF ONLY I'D KNOWN HER TWO YEARS AGO, I WOULD'VE TOTALLY GOTTEN IN WITH PRESS. CRAP.

Also from that night, we got a gift from our boss! You know, sometimes she's ridic and strange and yelly, but there are moments when I think, she is kind of awesome. So after our meal, the waitress comes by and asks us if we want coffee or tea. I was kind of stuffed and wanted to save for dessert, so I said no, but my boss was like, NO YOU HAVE TO HAVE COFFEE. So with wide eyes, I go um... I guess I'll have tea then. So that was weird inandofitself, but then the drinks came. Boss got coffee in this cute little teacup on top of a saucer while C and I get our drinks in these mugs. Questionable but I ignore it until C pokes me and goes, dude, doesn't this panda look familiar? So I look closer and printed on the cup right next to the handle is a picture of a giant panda--that strangely looks like the picture we used as our comp wallpaper for at least two months. Beside it, a picture of Kyoto tower and... HOLY HELL, WE REALIZE SHE GOT THESE MUGS MADE WITH OUR PICTURES FROM JAPAN. It was HYSTERICAL when we realized it and our boss was DYING from laughter. Like i said, she has her moments.

ii. Also last week, I went to the opera! *___________* I've wanted to go for like ever because come on, the Metropolitan Opera is HERE in new york and why haven't I ever been to the opera yet?! Well, other than tickets are bloody expensive, but thank god for Rush Tickets drawing lottery thing! Because they ended up being 25 bucks each, but I got seats in row R, seats 14 and 16 and they were REALLY decent. :D I dressed up relatively enough--my graduation dress with these brown stockings and my booties! I thought I looked cute. :D The opera was kind of like I expected, the singing dragged at points but mainly because they repeated the same thing over and over again for like 15 minutes. Man, I have like no patience. That said, the story we went to see Cosi Fan Tutte was hysterical and really messed up with the concept of how women are just never faithful and how it's in our nature and these fiances trying to prove that they're NOT unfaithful so they end up seducing their own fiances and omg, it's crazy but OH SO FUNNY. But seriously, 3 and a half hours, HELLA LONG. O.O

iii. And the rest of November looks just as busy! My schedule:
- 17: Daily Show with Jon Stewart taping
- 19: Ikea and then HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HOLLOWS PART I
- 20: JIN AND THE MTV IGGY WHATEVER THING--even if I don't get in, I'll probably watch on the jumbo-tron thingie

iv. So other than usual social life taking up my time, the past two days have been filled with me binging on online manga. But you know, that shit is annoying to wait for page by page, and some googling search done, I discovered Comic Shelf. BRILLIANT PROGRAM. You have access to five online manga sites and you can download the mangas onto your harddrive so you can read it there instead of waiting for each page to load. *_____________* SO HAPPY WITH IT. :DDDDDDDD Now I need to find mangas I want to read. Excited!

v. I don't think I have a point 5. XD Oh i know.

I was playing with this sand by numbers (kind of like paint by numbers but using colored sand). Kame predictably turned out awesome. lol
