[#041] What Is This "Life" Thing You Speak Of?
i. Yesterday was my JE clips day. Today was dramas day. :D
Most of these are written as I watch, so if a thought jumps, you know why. lol
Voice ep.4 - That ending killed me, hands down. The circularity of the chocolate coming back from the start--the fact that it's Valentine's Day didn't just appear for no reason. Same with the cell phone ring tones--come on, you can't tell me you didn't laugh at the ring tone Teppei has for Akira. And just, Ryosuke finally standing up to his father and saying that he won't quit forensic science. ♥ I love this drama so much. I can't say that it's going to be one of my favorites, but it's definitely really solid: in acting, in story (for the most part), in characters. ;laksdjraslkdfmklj I've said this repeatedly, but Aki and Daiki are just amazing in their banter--in this episode too with the food thing and Daiki always questioning how people eat things, and I absolutely love Toma's Ryosuke. Can I also say that I love the clothes they keep putting on Toma, with his Timberland boots and always a puffy jacket with a hood lined in wood and jeans and just. asdljraksdjf I have never loved someone's outfits as much as I do Toma's. Not for myself (obviously) but that it's always so solid and awesome and looks great on him. :D
Love Shuffle ep.1 - It's... interesting. Different, that's for sure. The first episode is a little slow but it makes sense. Establishing characters, after all. But I'm curious as to what the end result is. I seriously cannot see it and that may be the only reason I'll stick around because I want to find out what's going to happen. Tanihara's interesting in his role, although I'm a little.. eh abouthim. And Matsuda Shota is the hottest thing even though Tamaki Hiroshi is RIGHT THERE. He's still overwhelmingly hot. His character is so clingy, bytheby. (Tamaki's, I mean.) He's a little annoying. (Also, how can he wear the engagement ring? Kinda like Prodai. I hope that comes back. XD) I don't want to dislike him, but I'm more woot towards Matsuda Shota. Mmmm. His hair. Also, I'm always amused when dramas reference 3 months like the end of a drama season.
Uta no Onii-san ep.3 - LOL first of all to the kids chasing Kenta all over the place. So amused. "It's not like I'm an idol." Um. Inside jokes for the win? I don't know if I've mentioned before that I love Maruyama in this drama? Because I do. He does well and his character is utterly amusing. ♥ I love how enthusiastic he is about working at the show and how he constantly tries to get Kenta more pumped up. And I actually do have a lot of love for Kenta/Akane. I feel bad for Kenta because he got the short-end of the stick, but at the same time, there's still something there between them. asd;lfajskldfjaksdj (The scene with her weeping when she sees him singing was a little weird though.) Although secret shipping of Kenta/Manabe. I don't know where that's even coming from but I do love their scenes together. I'M SO WEIRD, I KNOW. (And who is that little girl? Seriously? I'm starting to think she's a ghost that haunts the studio and everyone can see her, but they don't mind because she's not scary.)
Q.E.D. ep.5 - This drama doesn't fail to be ridiculous. But for some reason the fifth episode got a higher rating than even Kami no Shizuku. I don't know what that says. (Although Kami no Shizuku never dipped all the way down to 3.9. ...I feel like being mean and saying yet. But at least the fifth episode of Kami no Shizuku rose to 6...Not that that's saying much. Wait. What does any of this have to do with Q.E.D.? Anyway, boring case. I got distracted by the fail!detective and his lisp. So distracting. And I totally saw that he'd end up with the actress although that was like wtf, no way. But whatever. My brain is already turned off when I watch an episode. (I don't get why this episode got a higher rating than the first episode even. That was ridiculous. Was the lady co-starring someone special or something?)
Rescue ep.1-2 - Wow, just right off thebat, we get action. Way to go, drama. And how amused am I every time I see Nakamaru doing something that involves physical work. ...Is that horrible of me? Because I'm totally not sorry. XD I do kinda feel like this is Code Blue part 2, but I'm not sure where that's coming from. As for characters, I adore Nakamaru/Massu's characters' friendship. OMG, so adorable. I love how Yukata just watches over Daichi and then when Yukata practically gives up his own recommendation for Daichi. Just so many ♥♥♥ I love strong friendships in dramas. (Massu's haircut is the cutest thing ever in this drama. Totally fits him. He's so fucking cute. Ohmygod. ♥ I really like how he looks here.) I might've been thinking that when the guys were asked what they were doing at SR that Yukata would say that he was training because he was following Daichi. XD Amusement like whoa. I totally think the only reason for the "fight" scene was just to have a reason for half-naked boys. XDDDD Although they're not even that built, but whatever. AHAHAHAHAH. MY LAUGHTER AT KANAME JUN PUNCHING NAKAMARU RIGHT WHEN THE MUSIC SWELLS. THAT IS LIKE THE BEST THING EVER. I LOVE IT WHEN A DRAMA DECEIVES ME. And I cannot help but get freaked out whenever Nakamaru yells. His eyes scare me like whoa. And as for the theme song, I can so hear Jin all over this song. Seriously, what in the world? But I think I like this song more than One Drop. *shrugs* (Holy shit, that was all on the first episode. New paragraph for the second one!)
AHAHAHAHAHAHAH. I'm sorry, the fact that the rescue was actually a mannequin. I laughed really hard at that. WTF. But whatever. I totally want chibi!Koga to succeed even though we know he probably won't because we don't see him in the final grouping at the start of the first episode. DDDDD: Mm. I don't have much to say other than the fact that argh. All these people. Way to help the handcapped girl. Seriously. At least let her know wtf is going on and help her out. >.> (And why the hell is she stupid enough to go where everyone's not going? I mean, really. If you see lots and lots of people heading in one direction, predictably, they're going the right way. Stupid.) And random thought, I wonder how many fires they actually have to set for this. Doesn't that cost like shit amount of money? o.o And oh Daichi. His determination to stick with his teammates. Doesn't it just warm your heart? ..............OHMYGOD THAT ENDING. OHMYGOD. WHAT. WHATWHAT. That's what happened to Koga?!?! WHAT.
ii. re: Matsjun/Aragaki Yui's drama. Again. New Information: YUI'S GOING TO NOT BE ABLE TO TALK. IF THIS MEANS SIGN LANGUAGE IN A DRAMA, I WILL BE FUCKING ECSTATIC. SERIOUSLY. I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS LIKE WHOA. However, because it has so many aspects that I could/could not like, this drama could either come crashing down or rise in my favorites list to the point that it may battle Orange Days (ahaha, no, never going to happen). But we'll see. a;sldrjakldfjlaksjdflkj I'm already anxious for next season, ohmygod.
iii. re: Drama Specials. Okay, so not only is Shibatora having an SP, but so is Zettai Kareshi. Okay. I get Shibatora because that ending was just sad-face. However, Zettai Kareshi? Really? I mean, he's...well, if you've seen the drama, you know what happens. How the hell is Mokomichi going to come back? Do not understand. >.>
iv. I didn't talk about it here, but I've been having computer issues for the past few weeks. Mainly because I used my dad's installation disks and then my copy of windows wasn't valid and blahblah. It didn't annoy me at first, but after a while, every time the message would pop up that my copy isn't valid, my computer would start to freeze up. And GOD, THAT IS THE MOST ANNOYING THING EVER. I finally got it fixed and my computer's back to normal. I cannot tell you how ridiculously happy I was. Ohmygod. So happy. *____________* I finally have a regular wallpaper on my computer instead of a stupid black screen. SO HAPPY. ♥♥
v. Even if you're vaguely interested in Arashi and you've never seen Aiba's letter from four years ago (five? since we're in a new year now?) on 24hr Terebi, you should. I've posted this video before (and a whole lot of Arashi vids) on my LJ before, but I was re-watching Nino's letter from last year (ahaha, so weird to say when I feel like it was much more recent but really isn't) and got the urge to see Aiba's.
P.S. I have been waiting for this forever. Nagase on MTV Unplugged. So fucking amazing. a;lsdjrkasjdflkj I just. I can't even say. Just... He did amazing and all the songs were gorgeous, but I have to say ending on "Knocking on Heaven's Door" was just A+++. The one song I'd been waiting for. ♥
P.P.S. Okay, with all that drama watching and je clips watching, break days are over. I have to do actual work before Saturday because my friends want to go out drinking (my sister's reaction when I told her lol). XD Now to figure out how to tell my mom about it because er... Yeah. (Also, must stop spending so much money on drinks. Last...what was it? Saturday? We ran up a tab of like 70 bucks. ~_~;; Whoops?)
