i. I say in a joking manner, but really, it kinda is sometimes.
So, yesterday night, I don't know how I came across it, but I came across this comm where people would ask for their journal to be reviewed by the watchers, and then be brutally attacked for the content of their journals--from what they talked about to how they talked about it to, maybe even, actually writing projects like stories or poems or whatever. And last night, I kept thinking why would anyone want someone to read their LJ for the sake of being judged and some people even left scores on how enjoyable or whatever their journal was. (And when I say brutally honest, I mean brutally honest.)
Then this morning, Peyton and I got into a discussion about how we're so huge on fandom and we follow it heavily (which helps when, say, you're doing a podcast, lol) and how if someone took a look at our respective journals, they'd see more fandom than RL. Granted, Peyton's is flocked and my RL posts tend to be flocked, but beyond that point. For the most part, yes, I really do blog more about fandom than I would about my own life. I mean, when she was saying that, I literally went back to my journal and was like, wtf, she's so right. Every single post has some mention of fandom (except for one which was just me being hungry), but in just the most recent ten posts, all have something to do with fandom. If I was fucking graded on how fandom centric my journal is, it'd be in the 90%s, I swear. High 90s, in fact. (There should be some kind of grading system like that, lol.)
And sometimes, I wonder, lol, how fucking lame I must be if I can't even blog about my RL when I love writing those things down. Documenting events that I'll eventually forget in the future, then come back to and be happy that I wrote it down. I mean, just the last week, I went out twice and managed not to post about either event. Tuesday, went out to a 4 hour karaoke session with friends (met girl!J's friends from college) and went back to her house to watch television and eat food she'd cooked. Then Thursday, I went out with boy!J and C to go see Bride Wars (which was a good movie, by the way, and people should totally go and see it), then went to all sorts of places to pass the time. And all this junk, and it doesn't even warrant more than TWO LINES for me to write on. XD Which is sad because it shouldn't be that way.
Then, I think that it's also because I think that kind of stuff isn't interesting to the people who read my journal. And that's when I start to wonder about why I do write so much on fandom. I think, in large part, it's because not many people watch the amount of videos I do. Willingly as well. I like watching all these JE clips, even the raw ones--although some zone me out and as you can tell, I stop paying attention sometimes (the dialogue's usually the first to go). But then there are those times when I just hit gold and I think they're worth sharing and worth talking about.
Okay, I've kinda lost track of what I was talking about or what I was planning to go with at the beginning of this ramble, I guess, I want to say that, can I really be "judged" because of my obsession with fandom? This goes back to the people judging thing. I kinda don't understand what would happen if people in a fandom, doesn't necessarily have to be mine, but in any type, were to ask to be reviewed, would the people judging have the right to go "this is boring" just on the basis that they don't know the fandom, or aren't interested? Like if I threw my journal at them and was like, HERE, HAVE AT IT. Would it be fair to say that I'm less interesting to them because all I do is talk on and on about videos about these guys and don't seem to have a life of my own? I think within my fandom, I'd be at least marginally interesting. lol Marginally. a;lskdfjalskdjf
I guess what I'm trying to say here is, that for all the joking that "oh, fandom is so srs bznz," to me, it kinda is. I've invested two years in this fandom. Almost a year for a podcast. Writing for almost two years. I just. I don't know. Fandom = Kamika, I guess. And lol, there's so nothing wrong with that.
ii. Happier talk, I changed my layout!
tinyangl. I don't know why I was in the mood to make a header of Ryuusei no Kizuna, but whatever. :D I like how distinctly opposite this layout is from my last one. What was light is dark now. XD (Although, I've discovered a problem! I can't copy and paste, or at least can't SEE what I've copied and pasted. Fail.)
iii. In drama updates, I've watched the first episodes of both Uta no Onii-san and Mei-chan no Shitsuji! :D Both were totally enjoyable in their own separate way. I'm really loving Ohno's acting, honestly. Especially during the arguments with his dad. Those scenes were some of my favorites even though they're always arguing. XD But I think it's more of the content of their conversations than anything else. ♥♥ Well frigging done. And in Mei-chan, Mizushima Hiro. Just. *_________________* Eikura Nana is the cutest thing ever and she is rocking the short hair like Maki did (still does, really). :DDD I feel like I cut my hair at a good time, LOL. ♥
(Right click, view image for original size.)
THEY'RE SO CUTE TOGETHER. I could totally get behind these two together. *___________________*
I repeat, Eikura Nana is rocking the haircut. ♥ And I just kinda love her outfit. Like whoa do I like her outfit. (The vest one, that is.)

(Note: The gif may go faster than it probably should. I think I forgot to adjust the time of the frames. WHOOPS.)
Watched the V6 Vibes MC Collection from the DVD and that is where that little clip is from. Oh, Sakamoto. I wasn't paying terrible much attention (which seems to be a habit lately when I watch raw videos) so I have no idea why he broke out into dance, but I totally caught that and loled for a bit there. Well, loled and squealed. XDDD If you can even do both at the same time. *snigger* I would love it if someone subbed this by the by. :D Made of so much win. Especially at the beginning when each member sat down with Okada and they chat. Okada/Ken got a lot of screams from the fangirls. Okada/Sakamoto got a lot of screams from me. lol Especially when Okada went "Ma-kun~" and then invited him out to eat since they don't do much together (or something like that). There was also a point where Ken said that Okada had an ero looking face. XD (Okada had that mustache of doom, so I can understand where he's coming from. lol) And that's only like three distinct scenes. This thing was like multiple little clips from their MCs during the tour. *_______________* I repeat, I want someone to sub this. If anything, I WILL HELP TIME IT. ♥ (Since that's the most I can do. lol)
v.
Aiba on Tensai! Shimura Doubutsuen (subbed). :D A clip where Aiba wears a turtle outfit. omg, so cute. I love how in the introduction, Aiba's like, "I won't let that rabbit beat me!" And then Becky gives him a mild foot massage as an answer for the question later, and when he starts crying out at pain and asks what location that is (since massaging a point in the foot relates to a place in the body), her answer is "inside of the head." LOL. He smacks her and is like, "don't say that on TV!" ♥♥♥ I feel like going through that show and just finding these little question points in each episode. Totally enjoyable.
P.S. I bought my ticket to Comic Con!!!!! a;lsdkja;lkrjaksldjfk;sadjflkj;l I'M SO HOPING HE'LL BE THERE. *________________*
And I just read that there's less of a chance a person can even get into the theater. (Guess who's getting their whoa, early. XD)
P.P.S. TOMORROW'S MY 2ND YEAR ANNIVERSARY IN JE AND 5TH YEAR ANNIVERSARY ON LJ. YAY!!!! Who thought I'd be here for so long. I was going to have a post about Yamapi tomorrow, but got kinda lazy. *cough*
