Some jerk set fire to a government vehicle because he was upset that his kid was killed in Iraq. His kid was a Marine. He saw the three Marines in their Dress Blues walking up to his door. Then he went berzerk. He doused the SUV with gasoline (very expensive gasoline, mind you) and lit it up. In the process, the moron doused himself and, deservingly, lit himself up. The medics had to take him to the hospital.

So your kid died in Iraq. That's HIS signature on the dotted line. That's HIS fate. Do you think that those Marines LIKE making house calls like that? Do you think that they ENJOY giving the news that their fellow Marine was killed? You're an asshole moron, and you DESERVE what you gave to yourself.

Do you really believe that your kid was immune to death? I do understand that it sucks having your kid die before you do, but HE is the one who signed the dotted line. You should have the sense to start the grieving process as soon as he gets in the plane to land in the Marine Corps Recruit Depot.

My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer many years ago. I mourned her death in advance. I was waiting for her to get very sick and die. But she didn't. Much to my own dismay (remember that I was spending lots of energy in mourning), I was hearing news that she was getting better. WTF?? All that grieving for nothing?? But whatever, I got over it. And she's alive, nine years later. What does this have to do with that jerk in Hollywood? If my mom had died, I wouldn't take it so hard. I loved my mom, and I still do - although she drives me insane, but that's because I let her.

Don't go around burning taxpayer dollars just because you're an asshole. Hold yourself together. When I was five years old, I heard Bert say to Ernie, "Stop and think, "What will happen?'" I guess Sesame Street ain't all that bad.
