So, our home was broken into. No one was hurt. Thank goodness! But the house was left in shambles--mattresses turned over, couch cushions thrown everywhere, entire closet shelves cleared, vases broken, papers spread across the floor, et cetera. The only thing the burglar(s) took was my four year old laptop, which I just paid $300 to get fixed. Our entire house looks like a wreck, but unfortunately for the scumbags, we didn't have any money, jewelry, or anything else of value. If they were smart they would have never wasted their time with our house. Now onto the rest of the clean up.
