Idiot Proof Diet

Just wanted to share briefly, I have been doing this diet (the one you see advertised all over the internet, 10 tips to lose belly fat etc).

I started it last August, and I have been following it steadily but not religiously, and I'm down from 98kg to 79kg.  I'm sure if I'd stuck closer, I'd have done it faster.  (I'm past my first goal of 80 :))

I don't eat much or too unhealthy. My problem is that I just don't move enough. I mean, I eat 3 wholemeal buns with trimming, fruit and lunch. I drink non-sweetened tea and two coffees with milk and no sugar a day and that's mostly it. But working at home, I just don't move enough *head/desk*

That's exactly how i put the weight on to begin with! I used to work with horses and move around a lot - seven years at a desk job and I'd put on 30 kilos, basically without even realising.

Poor us! :)

Congratulations, tinx, that's great!

And I have the same issue as katikat mentioned in her post -- I eat pretty healthy food, and not too much, but I don't exercise nearly as much as I should.

Say, I'm curious -- maybe you could write up a post about how you originally found Riptide. Did it show up in reruns in NZ like it did in Germany and Italy? How much do you remember of the show -- are there specific espisodes that you're going to go straight to when the DVDs show up in your mailbox?

:-)
