1. If God was kind, all of my meals would cook themselves. My kitchen would be like the self-sustaining Beauty and the Beast kitchen where all the pots and pans are merry and musically inclined. Where can I find a witch to enchant my cupboards? My meat keeps overcooking and I need a magical pair of tongs to rescue these dishes because my current ( Read more... )

Haha! I may have re-read it multiple times after I wrote it to make sure I wasn't accidentally advertising a need for enchanted undergarments.

I APPROVE OF YOUR OFFICE-Y REASONINGS. Seriously, I completely agree.

I AM SO GLAD. :D I kind of couldn't believe that The Office gave us a Ryan-centric episode again. And one that managed to show that Ryan is still dependent on Michael's love and that Michael still cares for him, to boot.

Also, spiffy icon, hee!

I still need to catch up on The Office as I've missed several eps due to being asleep/away from TV/watching something else when it's on... But I did catch that episode with Ryan and it was pretty awesome, yeah.
I also need to catch up on episodes of House, but... I haven't really cared that much if I watch it or not. And now they got some new girl, wut?

I really liked the first episode of The Walking Dead. And I've missed some eps, but overall I've enjoyed it. And, don't worry, horror movies/shows purposefully create unlikanble characters so they can be killed/eaten. :D Like, what, already a bunch of them got offed in the last episode? I think there's only two eps left, so hopefully the finale will make it so we'll want another season. I at least like the main character, alright, and a few of the side characters intrigue me. Especially pizza delivery man.

Yeah, I've been watching most of my Office eps on Hulu on account of... not really caring enough to watch it when it premieres. But that Ryan episode was great! I like when they remember that he still exists.

I haven't watched House since, I don't know, the episode where House babysits Cuddy's kid. So, totally feeling you on the "not caring" front. The new girl is supposedly a lot like Cameron? It makes me... wary to say the least.

I do like the former pizza delivery guy, and the main guy. They're the only two that I can claim to actively like. The others I don't have too much of an opinion on or they irritate me with their douchery/whining. But I see your point about the purposefully unlikeable characters! It gives me hope that they will end up dead before it's over, hahahah.

I don't know what they are thinking. Well. $$$$ is what they are thinking, but it's a HORRIBLE IDEA. Bah.

Hello you! Hope you are well.

A Whedonless Buffy reboot will probably do Joss a lot of favours. Whedon-fen will boycott it on principle, the film will tank, they will then have to go back to the drawing board WITH Joss.

I fell out of love with that show around s3 with a slight reprise for half of s4 but I think they're shooting themselves in the foot, to put it mildly. I guess their contract on it is nearly up so they figure they may as well go for broke and hope for good DVD sales.

(I'm all over a UK show called Misfits, at the moment. I'd probably have icons of it if I could get the time and space to make some.)

Hello! I am doing ok; I hope you are doing the same!

That's actually a pretty good stand to take on the whole Whedonless Buffy thing! Joss said he's done with television but since this is a movie deal anyway, there might be a sliiiight sliver of hope for him to return for another Buffy film if this one tanks horribly. I really would love to see the cast reprise their roles, and with Joss' writing, that would just be ace.

Oh! What was it that made you fall out of love with Buffy, if you don't mind me asking? I feel that I lost a bit of interest in the series around S5 (I just never did care for the Dawn storyline). And the final season was, eh, whatever. S2-S4 felt like the most solid seasons to me in terms of characters, writing and overall plot, but my favorite season is S6 because I adore the Trio.

(I haven't heard of Misfits! I should look into it.)

I'm good. Glad to hear you're better/okay.

One good thing about the internet/journalling: if you've said it before all you need to do is direct someone to a link.

All my feelings about BTVS were summed up here multiple moons ago:
