Glitch is a Bad Person.

After a rewatch of Part 1, I determined several things. The topic of Cain being the Hufflepuffiest Hufflepuff to ever Puff in a Huffly manner is not the main topic of this post, however! The topic, my friends, is the fact that Glitch is a bad, bad man.

Don't believe me? HAVE ANALYSIS! Mmmm, analysis. With profanity. )

I am, in fact, not kidding! Being a Bad Person doesn't mean you can't do Good Things, though. (Also, the following numbers are for my sanity's sake, since you raise so many good points.)

1. He is nice! Kindness is an even easier way to manipulate people, particularly strangers (which is why Az's ploy didn't work out so well...) and considering Ambrose's job, he definitely knew it and how to make it work.

2. The "this isn't your fight" running always seemed like he was going to run in and grab her back, not fight by her side. And I do believe that he actually cares about her by then, but having friends and caring about them, again, doesn't make you a good person.

3. I flinch when people get slapped on tv, in a 'that's gotta hurt' sort of way that most people do instantly. It doesn't mean "oh, you poor dears" in any way - it means "oh, OW." Yes, I think he's sympathetic, but I'm playing Devil's Advocate here.

4. Cain said it, but I'm about 80% sure I saw Glitch nod in agreement.

The Glitch-fu has always bothered me, with how it suddenly APPEARS in Part 2 and there isn't even a hint of it in Part 1.

THERE IS PROBABLY MORE TO ARGUE THAT I MISSED.
