Glitch is a Bad Person.

Sep 26, 2008 21:41

After a rewatch of Part 1, I determined several things. The topic of Cain being the Hufflepuffiest Hufflepuff to ever Puff in a Huffly manner is not the main topic of this post, however! The topic, my friends, is the fact that Glitch is a bad, bad man.

Don't believe me? HAVE ANALYSIS! Mmmm, analysis. With profanity. )

THIS is the sorting post I meant :)

Interestingly... Cain is a Gryffinpuff, it seems. o.O

This is TOTALLY the wrong comm to talk about this in, but I've always believed that every single sorting (save the immediate-shouts like Draco) means they belong in two houses. Obviously Harry was a Slythindor, and Hermione was a Ravendor. Ron might have been a Gryffinpuff, but who knows.

Anyway, the point being it's the dominant trait that picks the house, so I still firmly say he's a Hufflepuff! Hufflepuffitry drives his Gryffindor tendencies, as seen with Cedric Diggory.

Please... *eyeroll*

I agree with you on all points. He does also, however, have many Gryffindor traits, I feel.

However, based solely on the Hat: TOTAL PUFF

But, really, all the houses share all the qualities. It's the extent to which they focus, etc.
*agrees with Dumbledore. They sort too soon*

*nodnod* I was sad that apparently hadn't been changed by the time of the epilogue. I thought it would have been a great tribute to Dumbledore's revolutionary ideas, and a fitting outcome of the inter-House cooperation when they (mostly) united against Voldemort.

As a Ravendorin, I resemble that statement. ;-)

The uber friendly folks over at platform_934 have me as mostly Ravenlcaw, with almost equal parts Gryffindor and Slytherin as my secondary. Honestly, I think I'm a Slytherclaw, but that's just me...

Not all Slytherins are bad. Snape was decent. Hell, I could even make a case for Lucius Malfoy thanks to book seven, and let's not forget that Peter Pettigrew, the second most morally revolting character in the series, was a Gryffindor. No House is holy.

I hold a bitter resentment to their lack of support in the big ol' fight...

I agree whole-heartedly. Snape was the biggest flippin' lion on the planet :)
