After a rewatch of Part 1, I determined several things. The topic of Cain being the Hufflepuffiest Hufflepuff to ever Puff in a Huffly manner is not the main topic of this post, however! The topic, my friends, is the fact that Glitch is a bad, bad man.

Anyway, the point being it's the dominant trait that picks the house, so I still firmly say he's a Hufflepuff! Hufflepuffitry drives his Gryffindor tendencies, as seen with Cedric Diggory.

I agree with you on all points. He does also, however, have many Gryffindor traits, I feel.

But, really, all the houses share all the qualities. It's the extent to which they focus, etc.

*nodnod* I was sad that apparently hadn't been changed by the time of the epilogue. I thought it would have been a great tribute to Dumbledore's revolutionary ideas, and a fitting outcome of the inter-House cooperation when they (mostly) united against Voldemort.
