The palace was in an uproar, the royal family and their friends in a late-night tizzy to prevent disaster. Dressing gowns were thrown on and the slap of feet echoed through the halls as everyone raced to converge in one place.
Cain arrived first, opening the door and issuing his order as the others crowded behind him. All were focused on the person standing at the kitchen counter, who obeyed the command and raised his hands, the spoon in the right one dripping batter onto the floor.
Cain sighed and nodded. "Good. Step away from the bowl, Glitch, this isn't happening again."
