“Are you bored?”
“Wha? Huh? Me? No!” The words stumbled from her mouth. “What makes you think I’m bored?”
“Well, this isn’t the city with its bright lights and we don’t have clubs that stay open all night and not to mention, no electricity.”
She shook her head. “It’s beautiful here. You can see stars, hear nature instead of automobiles and people yakking about nonsense, and you have a fun family.” After dinner, the Cain family had played music and danced. Adora was shy at first, but Rebecca pulled her up to dance, breaking the ice for her. “Life is so simple here and I love it.”
“Even eating the balls from a bull?”
“Okay, that will take some getting used to.”
