The Big Payoff

Normally, I'll bet somewhere between a nickel and a quarter, just to spice up a game. Sounds like a good game. I wonder who will replace Mike Schula (Former-Alabama football coach)... Maybe, we can actually win some games!

'Bama has a fine basketball team with a Bruin connection in Gottfried, who was an assistant at U.C.L.A. It's tough to find a coach who can motivate some of the athletes who are so full of themselves and have eyes only for a future in the N.F.L., witness the short stays of many basketball players in college. There are always a few exceptional stories, and winning, though nice, very, very nice, isn't everything. Upsets are particularly nice if you're on the right end of it. The Crimson Wave has a fabulous history, and many coaches would love the chance. It would be great to find an up and comer, like Urban Meyer, when he was at Utah, and look how he did at Florida. It's tough to find the right guy for the the right program. It's a tough job. I would offer it to Dewayne Roberts, our defensive co-ordinator, who turned the program around, or go for Norm Chow of the Tennessee Titans who, as offensive coordinator, made U.S.C. a really explosive team. Not an easy job. Best of luck, but enjoy basketball. Look at this.... #4 or #5 in ( ... )

It's Dewayne Walker, not Roberts. I guess I don't want to lose him. Fabulous coaching effort!

What do you think about Rich Rodriguez? Do you think he planned on turning down the 2mil offer? Just so the university officials will match it at WV?
