Considering the gift registry, I think at least one person bought from it without realizing that it listed, 1 item wanted - 1 item bought, rather than - 0 items bought. People really need to look closer. You might bring this to the attention of WalMart, they should make that detail larger so it doesn't escape customers' notice. Keep in mind that WalMart will pay closer attention to customer comments than they do to associates (my)comments.
I have about an hour before I have to leave for work and I am going to itemize your gifts now and send you a rundown when I can.

i think it should have shown up as an error or red flag or something when the second person was buying it off the registry because ultimately the registry said 1 item wanted, 2 items bought.
when you bought the mattress, did you try to get it taken off the registry? was that Walmart's error that it didnt' come off or did you just not bother with it?

Yes, I had them use your registry so it would come off, but it didn't. You are right. There should be a red flag or something when they try to purchase something that has already had it's requested quota met. You should tell WalMart this. They really do listen to customers better than associates. There is a 1 800 WALMART NUMBER where you can tell them your problems, issues and suggestions and they will respond to them. They might even send you some sort of 'reward' for showing the problem to them and having a possible solution to it. I don't know but it can't hurt to mention it.
