He couldn’t take it anymore. Seeing scars on that perfect skin filled his entire being with anger. And if Adam wouldn’t do something about it, well, Nate would see to it that he was never hurt again.
Poison, he would find, is rather easy to come by once you figured out who to ask. And then all that was left was to get Brad all by himself, and then Adam would be protected forever.
Oh, this was too easy. Brad had a habit of leaving his drinks just sitting around while he was at the mansion, apparently having more important things to worry about. Nate could only smirk to himself when Brad returned to gulp down all of his soda in one go and then fell to the ground only moments later. Smirk on the inside, of course, because then there Adam was, trying to rush to his side to help, but Nate held him back, whispering soothing words in his ear. It would all be okay. Now, anyway.
