This used to be our kitchen
Notice the permanently cluttered bar, even on its last day (That's Sven's Tigger hanging out with the lamps; he came with Sven's first car, a white Mazda 323, and now he lives here. Also, check out the bird feeder on the fence outside. Looking at it makes me very happy.)
Discounting the radiator, which has also since gone bye-bye, this is the current state of our kitchen.
And this is our amazing moving box fort! I really think it brings a certain something to the living room, yes? (The green chair usually goes in the corner by the grey lampshade, but Nichlas, Sven's nephew, spent the night after helping us all day, so we needed an extra seat to watch DareDevil (because it's Molly's seat is in the middle, natch. Spoiled brat.)
This is our temporary utility room kitchen (notice my nifty use of the circuit board as a spice holder.)
Check out the grill right outside the window.
Also, how lucky that our freezer and the table we used to sit at in the old kitchen are the exact same height? Tablespace galore!
After many tough decisions, I manage to cram a functioning kitchen into three cupboards
and one-and-a-half drawers (laundry detergent and tupperware go together like.... two things that currently share a drawer. :)
Hanging out, exploring my unflattering angles (just nod and smile. Sure, it's the angle, Tink)
This also shows what most of our dog pictures look like. (That's her treats, in the glass jars on top of the tall fridge. And her precious toy, Erling the Fox, there on the floor. She also has a Einer the Racoon and a purple thing called Sprutte. I keep telling Sven it's supposed to be a rhino, but he's convinced it's an octopus.) Molly is very confused as to why we've moved into "her room."
End of Tour. :)
Luxury "roughing it," yo.
