One week and two days to go
Well, I'm completely stoked to be going to Austin from June 4th to the 7th for Samona's wedding. I have so much stuff that I want to do down there. One of the biggest things, go tubing down the Guadalupe on Sunday. I figure the day after the wedding is better, so if I do burn, there won't be wedding photos of a lobster red me. I also am glad cause I'll finally be off work for a few days. For those of you that don't know, I've been working two jobs now: the Hotel still and now as a Hostess at a restaurant. Since I've started working I've literally only had one full day off, which is today. But its worth it to do till August and then it'll be school time again. Then, down to one job only.
In other things. I'm still losing weight. Gradually dropping and am now up to 36lbs lost. I'll be brave and give you guys the truths. I am down to a size 18 again. Which makes me completely stoked because the last time I lost a crap load of weight I was only down to a 15/16. I hate those damn in between sizes. I'm really happy to be at an 18, even though it is still a plus sized number. But it's not as super fatty as the 22/23's (maybe even a 24, not sure) I was wearing when I started all this. I really need to find some exercises that will help me burn off the body fat that I have though. Anyone know of any? Cause I'm thinner but still have those god awful rolls going on. I'm also able to now wear an XL comfortably and not look like a sausage in it.. haha! Before I was buying 3x's just so I could try to hide how big I was and not have them clinging to me, even though I really should have only been at a 2x, but when you're that big why not just go a size up? It might hide those flaws better..lol

cheshire_kords Birthday weekend, June 27th and 28th. We've schemed to kidnap thenicedime and take her down to visit
candy_cadet and mybloodyzombie . If that wasn't a LJ name dropping event! I'm hoping by that time I'll drop at least 20lbs. I also hear Paul Van Dyk will be playing at the lizard lounge that night. So, perhaps that's an idea. Even though I've been dying to do Karaoke again!!
And I can't forget to mention perhaps going down to Schlitterbahn with dsuyentor and her David in Julys. There is so much stuff to be looking forward to!!
And everything in an air conditioned car!! lol, yes I finally got it fixed almost a year and a half later. I wasn't about to endure another summer of hot mess..lol.
Oh! And before I forget I bought awesome shoes for Samonas wedding. I decided to recycle a dress that I wore a year ago to only one wedding to save money. And just make it new with some awesome accessories like these shoes! Definitely in complete Bettina fashion. Oh, and did I mention I bought them in a size 8! (I normally wear a 9 and sometimes make myself wear 10's if the shoe is cute enough) Yeah. I found them on a website for $60, then for $40 and while on a dress hunt for the wedding apparently the Hot Topic here in town had them for $19.98.
