Summary: Taemin and Minho were going to go on a date, Taemin decided to use his new teleportation spell but everything goes amiss! Now, Taemin embarks on a little journey to save his beloved prince.

“I can use my new teleportation spell!” Taemin exclaimed, he held the young prince’s sleeve, giving him the puppy eyes. “I can use my new spell, right?”

Minho thought about this for awhile, he invited his lover to go on a picnic with him at the beach because it was the only day this week that he would be free from his duties and he wanted to spend his whole day with Taemin. But considering what happened last time in the Ball room and city, he wasn’t sure if it was okay to let Taemin use his new spell.

“D-do you not trust me?” The smaller one sniffled. Minho let out a sigh and he finally gave in. “Yes! Okay, next destination… The beach! This will be much faster than any other transportation machine, Minho.” He began to crack his knuckles, wrists, neck, and back as he prepared himself. Somehow, this was making the prince feel really nervous and uneasy.

“Taem… You have mastered this spell, right?” Minho asked, smiling with uncertainty. The little magician looked up at him.

“Yep! I was best in the class. Those little objects didn’t see what was coming!” He triumphantly smiled to himself as he fist pumped. “All righty now! Just set the picnic basket down and I’ll send ya to the beach.” Minho did what was told and stood there, watching Taemin square up his shoulders and standing straight. The blonde magician closed his eyes and inhaled a deep breath while letting it out. Suddenly, he pointed at Minho with his index finger with his thumb out, like a gun, he smiled and said “bang!” Out came a zap and the prince disappeared.

Satisfied that his spell worked, he picked up the basket full of food and snapped his fingers, when he opened his eyes he found himself on the beach. Something was wrong though, Minho was nowhere to be seen. “Minho?” Taemin called, his feet sinking into the golden sand. There were only a few people around the beach since it was still early in the morning. A huge wave of panic surged through him; he looked in his red pocket pouch in the center of his overalls. He pulled out a blue gemstone and his eyes bulged out. “SHIT!”

Taemin had forgotten to give his lover the gemstone, which is an enchanted stone that is used with certain spells to increase its power and control. After all, the objects Taemin tested without the gemstones were just small, common house hold objects, of course it wouldn’t need a blue stone for boost-but a living being would need one.

“Dammit, where the hell did I send him then?!” Taemin paced around, feeling anxious, he hit the side of his head. “Stupid, stupid, stupid! How could I forget to give him the stone? He’s probably all lost and alone without me…” There was one thought in Taemin’s mind that terrified him the most and that was his lover being in danger. Since he’s a prince, wouldn’t he be targeted? He’s not even equipped with any weapons or shields or armor! “Right, Minho needs me! I’m on my way to the rescue!” He threw his fist straight into the air as he exclaimed this, forgetting that there were some people around watching him act like a weirdo, after an awkward silence he place his hand back down to his side and wondered… “But where do I start? I don’t even know where I sent him…”

He shrugged, that’s okay because in class he only learned a few places to teleport to and that was the Paradise Sea and the Magical Training Woods. Taemin froze in place, he had so hope he did not send his lover to the Magical Training Woods because that was a place for magicians to fight and train against the magical creatures that habited there. Some dangerous creatures live in there… He clutched the blue gem in his hands tightly and teleported to the entrance of the Woods.

As Taemin walked through the huge trees and green bushes, he called out for his lover franticly. “Minhoooooo?! Are you here?!” The blonde haired boy paused in place as he heard bushes rustling from behind… From the side… In front of him. Taemin suddenly felt pale, he knows what it is but doesn’t want it to be true, he wishes it was just his imagination playing tricks on him but it’s not. The creature could attack him any minute, it was quick, the quickest thing in this forest, so swift he’s even not sure if he can defeat this enemy. “Dammit… Please, PLEASE don’t tell me it’s…” Out of the blue, a fluffy, white figure popped out from the bush before him, attacking his face with its foot. “Ouch!” The white figure bounced from his face and onto a tree, bouncing its way back into the bushes. “I knew it… A ninja bunny…”

The magician got his guards up now, when he heard the bushes rustle from the right of him, he turned towards it and suddenly, something attacked the back of his head. It crawled to the top of his head and all he could see now was a light brown furry tail. It chattered, to Taemin, it sounded like a battle cry. “You gotta be kidding me, flying squirrels now?!”

Ninja Bunnies: they’re small, they’re fast, and they usually come in a group of five or less. They use carrots as their weapons, even though carrot may seem weak-it’s actually magical and edible, so therefore, it’s stronger than an average carrot. Appearance: pink or black headbands, very cute and fluffy but don’t underestimate them, they know kung-fu.

Flying Squirrels: Allies with Ninja Bunnies, also cute and fluffy. They use nuts as ammo and are extremely dangerous since they can fly and shoot. They bite pretty hard, too, better watch out for that! Can come in armies of ten or more.

When Taemin finally ripped the squirrel from his face, the squirrel wailed and cried, so he gently set it down. Then, something kicked his bottom, making him fall forward. He tried to get up but out of the trees, a ninja bunny threw two sharp carrots, pinning the sides of his overalls down, then his sleeves. “Man, I just washed this uniform, too!”

The boy realizes that he’s surrounded by a swarm of ninja bunnies and flying squirrels; his only hope is the thing in red pocket pouch! “Wait!” Taemin said. He looked at his right arm and said a spell, zapping the carrot into oblivion. Once his right arm was free he dug into his pocket and pulled out his secret weapon-a rainbow carrot. All the ninja bunnies froze at its sight; they even prevented the flying squirrels from getting closer to Taemin. “All right, see this? That’s right, it’s a rainbow carrot, if you guys want it… Take me to your leader!” Assuming that that’s where they took Minho, if they had captured him.

When some of the bunnies guided him down deeper into the forest, he was wondering if Minho was okay, and hoped that these ninjas didn’t hurt him too badly. Suddenly, the ninja bunnies disperse, disappearing in a blink of an eye. “Hey!” Something thick wrapped around Taemin’s foot, causing him to trip and fall onto his stomach. He quickly looked back to see what it was… A Bellus Flower.

“What the hell is a Bellus Flower doing here?!?!” Taemin began to freak. A Bellus Flower contains an actual person inside of the enormous teal petals, well, not a person… More like a demon whose name is Bellus. A pretty hot demon, but that’s irrelevant right now because this demon is dangerous-no wonder the ninja bunnies fled. The green vines were dragging Taemin across the dirt ground, he let go of the rainbow carrot and tried to free himself from the flower’s clutches. Oh, he had so hoped that the flower wouldn’t spread its petal to reveal the demon inside. He heard something behind, a ninja bunny grabbing the carrot, and then quickly running away. “HEY! What the heck?! At least help me!”

As the vines pulled him closer to the enclosed flower, he gulped and squeezed his eyes shut. Is he going to die now? This demon shows no mercy, it can spit poison that can kill within three seconds. No way, he still needs to find Minho! He opened his eyes and saw that the flower was about to bloom, he’s running out of time, he checked his pocket to see if there was anything useful. Nothing. Well, he could always try that freezing spell; he hasn’t mastered it yet but what the hell? It’s worth a shot! “Freezy peezy, lemon squeezy!” The vines whipped back, releasing Taemin’s ankles, he thought he had succeeded in the spell but in reality, it wasn’t him who stopped the demon.

Instead, a young man stood before him, he had a red hood on along with red streaks in his hair, his cape fluttered from behind him. He stopped the plant from blossoming and picked up the little magician and went off. After the Bellus flower was out of sight, they stopped on a little pathway.

“Who are you?” Taemin asked. He sat on a boulder that was a couple feet away from the mysterious savior. “Don’t tell me… You’re the Wicked Witch of the West Woods?!”

“No, do I look like a witch?” The young man in red retorted, obviously irritated. “Tell me, do I look like a witch? Witches are ugly old hags. Do I look like an old hag? Do I even look ugly? No, I don’t think so. Exactly, get your life together.”

“…” Taemin didn’t how know to reply to that this guy was snappy! He feels as if met this person before, from his training last time he came here. A light bulb flickered on above his head as he gasps. “You’re the Key of this Woods!”

The young man smirked. “Ding, ding, ding! Now don’t forget it again.”

“I have a question to ask you… Have you seen anyone else in these woods besides me?”

“No, right now it isn’t training season, why would anyone dare come into these woods?” Key said. “I am to keep a look out on idiotic, I mean, misfortunate wanderers here. And no one, besides you, have entered into these forest.”

“Are you sure?” Taemin asked, he felt disappointed, if his lover wasn’t here, then where?

“Are you doubting my skills? Nothing gets passed me!” Key pointed his thumb at himself and then began to continue on about himself as he rolled his eyes and walked around. “I know everything that goes on in these woods. Ho, ho, ho! Of course, I do. This is my territory after all! I mean, I knew where to find you, right?” Key turned to look at his company but he was gone without a trace, he looked around with a frown but there no one else but him and once he realized that, he began to feel embarrassed. He walked down the pathway, whistling as he continued his surveillance.

Taemin had decided to teleport to the back to the beach, maybe he accidently placed Minho into the ocean! Once he reached his destination, he realized he was in mid-air, right above the sea and the gravity caused him to fall into the murky waters. He could feel himself sinking deeper into the sea. “C-can’t… Breathe!” He gurgled, choking on the salty water. He casts a spell and zap! He’s revived with oxygen again… Inside a bubble. “Great, now my outfit is wet…”

The bubble was floating down in the depths of the sea. Little fishes and other small creatures swam by. Taemin was getting worried, what if Minho drowned to death?! Or worse… Mermaids captured him because they couldn’t resist his charisma?! There’s no way Taemin would ever allow that! After hours of wandering aimlessly in a bubble, Taemin felt like giving up all hopes of finding Minho is this vast, endless sea. He could feel his voice getting scratchy from calling out “Minho” over and over again for countless of times with no response. But then… A dark figure was approaching; the little magician was hoping it was Minho, alive. But instead, it was a formless water being called a Lillya… It had tiny, little armies of mermaids about the size of an average index finger and the Lillya can cast ice bolts and water balls. This doesn’t look too good for the magician.

As the Lillya drew closer, she commanded her little army of mermaids to attack his bubble. “No, stop it!” He cried, feeling completely helpless. What the heck is he suppose to do underwater?! One of the little mermaids poked through into his weak bubble and water began to leak in. He began to breathe hard, fear overcoming his senses, he’s probably going to really drown and die now.

--

“It looks like he’s in trouble…” A person said, wearing dark clothing as no light was shown to reveal his face. Another dark figure was sitting down in front of a bright orb that portrays Taemin’s current situation. They were both watching Taemin.

“It seems to be so…” The person sitting murmured softly.

“Why doesn’t he fight back?” The person standing asked.

“He’s only learned defensive spells so far, and spells that are handy to use.” The one sitting explained calmly. “So, he hasn’t learned any attack spells yet.”

“Hmph, too bad for him then…”

--

Taemin quickly looked into his pocket, there were only two gemstones left… As more holes popped, the bubble itself disappeared, leaving Taemin completely out in the water. He held his breath, his cheeks bulged out with fear in his eyes but he somehow managed to teleport himself out of there and onto a small piece of island. He gasped, panting hard as he sucked in the air on his hands and knees.

“That… Was… Too close…” He said to himself, shaking his hair as water droplets flew. He looked around and saw that he was pretty much stranded, but he had one last plan to find his lover. The little doll he made of Minho. As he reached into his pouch, he pulled out the doll and kissed it, placing his hand above the huge heart centered at its chest. He mumbled some spell and the red heart began to glow, when it stopped glowing it made a faint beeping noise. “All right, got it! I should have done this earlier!” He reached into his red pocket again and pulled out his yellow inflated balloon.

After the balloon was bloated up and ready to sail across the ocean, he hopped onto it, looking at his new Minho radar. “Hmmm, it’s very faint… Guess he’s not around here. Onwards, balloony! Don’t worry, Minho, I’ll definitely find you… Just wait, I’m on my way.”

Once Taemin reached the shoreline of the beach, he sighed, still no sign of Minho anywhere. Does this mean he’s really dead? The blonde boy wiped the tears that were falling from his eyes as he sniffled. If he didn’t insist on using the spell then this wouldn’t have happened. His Minho tracker ran out of juice and shut off just a few minutes ago so he stuffed it back into his pocket. Dragging his feet through the sands of the beach. It was more crowded now since people usually come around evening to watch the sunset. It only hurts more if Taemin thought about it because he could be watching it right now with Minho if he hadn’t screwed up. He was beginning to think if he really was cut out to be a magician or not.

He scanned the beach, wondering if Minho was waiting around somewhere, at least he was really hoping that would happen. Then, someone caught his eyes; it was a tall person with long wavy hair like Minho’s. He couldn’t see the guy’s face, only his back, and since he was a few hundred yards away, the profile looked similar to his lovers’. His heart began to skip beats, could it be? His feet moved forward, heading towards his direction and suddenly… A girl in a bikini walked over to him, Taemin saw him placed his arm around her and this pissed him off. He stormed right over there and grabbed his shoulder.

“YOU, I can't believe you! You're flirting with some other girl when you have me?!” Taemin cried. His nose dripping since he was bawling. “Do you know how long I was looking for you?!”

“What the-” The girl pushed the man away. “You’re gay?! UGH! Disgusting!”

Only then did Taemin realize that it wasn’t Minho, his tears stopped and his lips twitched. The man who looked similar to Minho was angry. “What the hell, man?!” He shouted, standing in front of Taemin. The little blonde swallowed hard and tweaked a small, uneasy smile. “Whoops… Sorry, I got the wrong person.” He backed away slowly before turning around to dart away. The man suddenly growled and transformed into a half animal.

“Ah, shit, why do I always get into some sort of trouble?!” Taemin was sprinting across the beach, avoiding collision from any bystanders. As the half creature man, which seemed to be a bull, was trailing from behind the magician. Taemin decided to cast some random spell, hoping it would distract the monster. “Fluffy meep, fluffy peep, fluffy sheep!” And viola! A herd of Woolies dropped down from above, knocking out the chasing creature and covering him in the Woolie’s white wool.

“Whoops… How am I going to clear all of these sheeps off the beach? Oh well… I’ll just go back home and find a way to get Minho by my side again.” Taemin dug into his pouch pocket and realized that he couldn’t find his Minho doll. He looked back at the beach, did he drop it in there?! But there were too many white, fluffy cotton balls all over the beach, there’s no way he would be able to find it. Plus, that half man creature is still out to get him. He frowns, completely disheartened. He’s now lost his doll and his lover. The blonde boy rubbed his nose and held back his tears, it’s not over yet, he thinks. He believes that he can still find his lover. With that in mind, he began to walk home on foot.

Taemin dragged his feet to the front of his door, letting out a depressing sigh as he placed his hand on the knob, when he turned it and entered into his lair with his head hanging down low. He heard a loud beeping noise, he looked up and couldn’t believe his eyes, there Minho sat-looking bored as he twirled the doll around in his hands.

“Taem…” Minho calmly said, not even looking at his lover. “How do you shut this up?” Taemin threw his body onto Minho, glomping him. “Yaaah, you got some explaining to do…” Minho grabbed his lover’s face and gave him light kisses.

The smaller boy placed his hands over Minho’s mouth to stop him from the kisses. He looked at Minho with confusion as he began to stammer. “I-I thought… But how? You were lost? I mean… Didn’t I teleport you somewhere?”

Minho removed Taemin’s hands away and pouted. “Yeah… You teleported me back into my garden, silly. Really, there are just times where I want to smack you in the head but... Since you were looking for me so frantically, I'll forgive you for wasting my day without you.” Minho pulled Taemin’s waist closer to his body.

“Eh?” The younger one had a confused expression. “How did you know I was looking for you?”

“I was watching you from the orb with Jonghyun.”

“Wh-Wha?! T-then why didn't you come tell me?!”

“You were teleporting all over the place, beside... I wanted to see how you would react when you couldn't find me... Was that selfish of me?” Minho smirked, squeezing his arms around Taemin.

Tears were forming in the corner of his eyes, “yeah, you meanie! I thought I really lost you!” Minho pulled his lover’s face closer to his and began licking Taem’s tears away and then he bit his cheek. “O-ouch… A-are you hungry, Minho?”

“Hmmm, what makes you think that?” He chuckles softly, Taemin felt Minho’s warm breathe on his cheek and shuddered.

“C-cause you’re biting me…” Taemin flinched when he felt Minho nibbling on his ear lobe.

“Then, I guess so…” He whispered. “Since I’m tasting something pretty delectable right now.” Suddenly, a monstrous growl was heard coming from Taemin’s stomach, both of them looked down, surprised. Minho couldn’t help but smile. “Heh, let’s go eat in the garden, shall we? Since we missed our chance to eat on the beach, which Jonghyun is cleaning up right now for saying something rude earlier.”

“S-sorry, prince…” Taemin meekly said, looking down as he placed both of his hands on his stomach. “But I forgot where I left the picnic basket…” His face flushed from embarrassment.

“That’s okay.” Minho smiled. He then whispered something so low that Taemin couldn’t catch it. “We can spend the whole night together doing something else.”
