Just to demystify you all, I pick up internet mentions of me via Google Alerts, mainly to monitor radio playlists. Every now and then I get word of something posted on a forum, which I try to read and reply to, when I have a bit of downtime. These take the place of the old-fashioned bags of fan mail and I take them just as seriously.
