“Yama-chan!!”
“I know! I know, just give me some time,” Yamada held on tighter to his pistol as he tried his best to stop it from shaking. He looked at the scene before him and couldn’t help but stare. Behind him, Keito has been shooting time to time and he heard another gunshot as Keito backed up against him. Keito watched as the bullet went through the head, splattering blood and brain and whatever is within onto the floor as the body fell.
“Yama-chan..” Keito warned, allowing him a short glance behind at the situation, “we’re running out of time.” Yamada nodded and gulped, his lips quivering as he took aim.
“Chinen?” He tried again, his eyes full of sorrow and pain but no response came and Yamada could only stare at the figure in front of him, lips dripping with blood and eyes empty. “Chinen, talk to me..”
He knew it was hopeless, but he at least have to try. When some more seconds passed with nothing happening, Yamada sighed. “Bye Chinen, I love you.” Yamada didn’t realized he pressed the trigger until he felt the jerk and watch as it hit the target, blood spreading across it’s chest.
It was mere seconds before he fell, but he managed to whisper with his last breath. “I love you too Ryosuke, thank you.” It was faint but Yamada caught it anyway and he tried his best to pull against Keito’s hold on him. Keito had a tight grip on his arm and was dragging him away from the scene and to safety as soon as possible but Yamada wasn’t cooperating.
Yamda watched as the house drift further away from him and let his tears fall, his heart breaking into pieces.
