John watched Teyla as she slept. He had never seen anything more beautiful in his entire life. She was peaceful in her repose. Her hair fanned out over the pillow, ever so slightly disturbed by the gentle ocean breeze coming in from the open window. Her lashes seemed majestic as they hid her beautiful eyes in her sleep.
He reached out to ease his fingers over her cheek. Her skin always seemed soft, angelically so. He eased closer to her and inhaled the scent of her native soap. The scent always aroused him, intoxicated him, and enveloped him in such a way as to make him oblivious to everything and everyone around him.
“I love you, Teyla,” He whispered against her ear as she turned towards him.
Teyla captured his lips before he could move away from her, drawing his entire body against the length of hers. As their lips parted, she gazed up into his desire laced eyes before speaking, “I love you too, John.”
“Tell me I’m not dreaming,” He spoke softly, “Because I’ve had a lot of dreams like this and ended up waking up very disappointed.”
Her amusement curled her lips, “This is most certainly not a dream.”
“Good,” John declared as he sealed his lips to hers once again, thrilled to know that his dreams had finally come true.
