Mondays suck...
...not only because it's the start of a new week and you have to switch from sleeping in late to getting up early again.
What actually bugs me about Mondays is school. As a trainee I'm in school usually once or twice a week, which is in my opinion - to say it with Goren's words from 'Blind Spot': "...both, too much and not enough."
Meeting classmates sure is cool and learning is important, but you simply don't have enough time to practice the stuff.
And todays Monday was even worse than usual. My personal 'worst case scenario' came true.
The school subject I have the most problems with, electrical engineering, just had to be the first classwork of my career training. :-/ We had 30 minutes to finish two pages of calculations and I had 'hit the books' over the weekend and bugged my father, but I did get only about half of it done. And hey, I felt like shit afterwards. I wasn't even sure the calculations I HAD DONE were correct... :-(
The other thing that got 'kinda' wrong - or at least that got me worked up - was that the last two hours had been cancelled. Our electronics teacher mentioned/said that about FOUR times, but with him (and about every other teacher we have) I have big problems deciding if they are kidding or not. It was especially hard after the test we had written, because everyone was edgy and it was very turbulent in class. But some at least seemed to take it for real, so I went home too. The uncertainty however bugged me for much longer... Especially because the only people I saw going were those I went with, because we all have to catch trains. And those same people just happen to be part of our 'school-wide known' Casino group. Every teacher seems to know there was a group disappearing during the school trip. *sigh* I - secretly - dubbed us the 'trouble team' meanwhile. So, yeah, I was pretty unsure about this whole 'going home earlier' business, especially because it were the hours of our class teacher. The one we got in trouble with. I guess I'll only be sure we weren't supposed to be in class if he doesn't freak next monday...
