A miracle!!!
Okay, guys...
Last weeks LJ entry is now up. That's not only because I didn't have time to type it, but also because I was so worked up I wasn't sure I wanted to post it at all. Now, after what happend today though I don't look at it as critical anymore, so I put it in as 'backdated'.
Well, the wrought-up feelings connected to the whole story are gone now. That's because we got the mentioned classwork results today!!!
Our teacher said exactly two things before handing the tests back:
1. He's at the school only three years now and he never had a grade average that bad. Although he had to admit that at about 2.7 the average in itself wasn't really bad!
2. He's never had such a variety of results in a class before. Eight very good people, the rest mostly in the 'middle' and three around 5, which troubled him.
He held quite a speech about those bad 'candidates' and I was sweating like hell, feeling guilty to no end. Geez, I was SO sure the man was talking to me...!
Then I nearly fainted at seeing my own test: 15 points of 20, a grade of 2.3!!! - Wow!
I couldn't believe my eyes. I can't tell you how relieved and stunned I was and still am... I WAS expecting one of the 5-somethings after that speech, really!
Well, it's good to know the expensive and expansive telephone hours wih my Dad helped. ;-)
I WAS totally nervous in front of the class as I had to do a calculation to one of the test exercises, I drew the circut set-up wrong and stuff, but I got it done somehow. *blush*
And honestly, despite that, with the way I'm feeling right now this must be the first day here in school where I feel okay...
