Work was slow today. Slow. I had very little come in today other than purchase orders. We've hit the "use it or lose it" time of the year where they try to use up the remainder of their budgets, thus I received many more PO's than normal. Progress is being made on the kitty front. I don't hear any hissing, growling, or chasing. PJ will allow Ossy to get close, almost nose to nose, for a short bit. PJ will actually relax and purr when I pet him and Ossy isn't nearby, which he hasn't done so far. PJ even curled up by my legs on the La-Z-Boy tonight. PJ does get jealous of Ossy ( Read more... )

I talked to my Mom and she suggested that I just let the cats together. I was rather hesitant of this idea as I really don't want to break up a cat fight. I brought out the new cat, and while I was holding it, PJ was calling to it. As soon as PJ sniffed him, he started hissing. When I pre-assembled the sink, PJ immediately claimed the box that the new sink came in. It's nice and wide and deep while only being about a foot tall. He loves that thing and crawls in it and watches or plays. I threw one of his toys towards it the other day and it happened to go in. One thing that I was successful in finding tonight was a laser pointer at Office DepotMax. They had a cheap keyring laser pointer, but it wasn't that much more to get a much better one, so I did ( Read more... )
